Doggo’s Pizza is a fast food restaurant that is geared towards the young, “hipster”, downtown folks. At the time, there weren’t many that fit that criteria, minus Blaze Pizza and a couple other local stores.
I wanted a mischievous mascot with some attitude. While brainstorming I immediately thought of Poochie The Dog, a fictional character from The Simpsons; a satire dog that was created to connect with young viewers within The Simpsons’ universe.
My dog, however, is self-aware of its goofy appearance, sporting comical bat-wing shades, and serves as a character that represents the consumer. A doggie that can’t keep his paws off of Doggo’s Pizza.
I designed a pamphlet that can be used as a template for future flyers, and a website layout that would be clear and easy to use.
